Payment Policy

When you confirm a reservation through our website, you have authorized STARS of Boston to collect and remit various fees and charges that will be due and owing by you in connection with your use of the the Accommodation, including, without limitation, the prepayment amount as set out in the Reservation Summary, Accommodation Fees, and all fees, charges and taxes payable with respect to your booking and use and occupancy of the Accommodation and use of any services provided. Upon receipt by you of the Confirmation of Booking, you will immediately be required to pay, and STARS of Boston will charge the debit or credit card that you have supplied, an amount equal to the prepayment amount required to be paid on confirmation of booking as shall be set out in the Reservation Summary (which may be the entire amount of the fees due and all taxes or other fees dues with respect to your Booking).

Payment

We use BrainTree for processing payments. We/BrainTree do not store your card data on our/their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements ensures the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
